Google Analytics requires that you enable the User-ID (or persistent ID) feature in order to recognize users accessing your website from multiple devices.
A single user may visit and revisit your site using several different devices. Each time they engage your website, they perform a set of actions (such as page visits, adding items to a cart, etc.). If you’ve added login software to your website, you can enable the Google Analytics User-ID feature to get a more accurate picture of how each visitor uses your site.
